hmm...that guy raises some good issues. in my view, it's pretty similar to the argument of CCM (Christian Contemporary Music ie. Christian rock music, hip-hop, praise and worship etc) being "sinful" or "ungodly" or "unspiritual" when looked at next to old hymns.
will provide me with much to think on in the boring times of these holidays i am enjoying. thanks luke!

Is this something I should be worried about in my field of study?? I just wrote the beginning to a hollywood script as a project at uni. It was like nothing I'd ever written because my Grandpa had just passed away. I couldn't write anything without it being a parallel to what I was going through at that point.
I think I'll be able to comment on things alot more once I've gone through this year - I'm doing a minor in Film this year, so perhaps I'll have more of a balanced view afterwards :) However I'll just say this - when dealing with things of the world, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Take the good, and let God shine a light on the bad.
