The Salmonella are swimming upstream

I cut up a beautiful rockmelon yesterday, put it all in a tupperware container.

Then just tonight I find this news story:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200610/s1775651.htm

So yeah. I'm wondering whether to eat it or not...

I think it's okay, while I was cutting it open I had a few pieces and I haven't died yet :)

Glad I didn't have any rockmelon at youth group last night... bit of a worry!

But then I am seeing two copies of your post on the blog so perhaps given that I'm seeing double I'm not that well after all...

Not all fruit. Get an Apple. Everyone knows they're immune to most viruses.

P.S. I'm sorry if I make you sick.

LUKE. LIEK OMG. I changed the address of my blog, and didn't tell you about it. So, here I am now. Consider this blog bookmarked.

Just think. If I had gone to QUT we could actually be hanging out right about now. Instead, I went back to the Northland. :-(

Are you like, addicted to Wikipedia or something? :-P Hey, I approve of Wikipedia...I'm on it! :-D Yay!
How's life man? Hope all is well, and that you still haven't succumbed to any melon related sickness. I find that I just don't eat melon ever, and it seems to work for me. So let that be a lesson to you. Melon is bad.
Although, I too have caught the double blog vision Matt described...maybe the problem isn't melons...

Luke, Bimini -

Do profs get angry at you if you reference Wikipedia?

I used Wikipedia to reference something that is pretty much common knowledge among Linguists (namely, that modern Persian is an Indo-Aryan language). I wasn't docked marks for it, though I think I'd find another source for something more substantial.

Bimini, I think you might be on to something. Luke hasn't posted again since eating the melon.

The melon is like a virus. It will soon overtake Luke's dormant body and make a post about being busy with uni and stuff. But we know the truth.

I had to look up on google that "rockmelon" was actually 'canteloupe' and not some crazy tropical fruit that we don't have in the U.S.
