I'm so proud...
I'm so happy, this is my new baby:
Yes, I'm the proud owner of a Studio Quality Mic... Finally!
I stopped by the public trustee auctions this morning and had my first real auction experience. Twas great - there's so much good stuff, just never enough money :)
I won't mention any figures, but I snagged my new mic for about half the price it would be on ebay.

ooooo... aaahhhh...
Hmmm... so going off the ebay comment... $200-$400 range?
Purty.
Will you re-record "Hello Computer" with new depths of tone and clarity?
Hahaha...ah matthew, your continued baiting of Luke's work makes me chuckle:) Usually its just left up to me:P Meanwhile, thats a nice looking baby you've got there...not like those ugly red pudgy things that we normally associate with the word "baby".
mmm. This one actually works straight out of the box and it doesn't require cleaning up after it...
For some strange reason, despite all of the obvious advantages, it still doesn't produce the same mass following of girls that real babies do...
Ah, but it should damnit! Yet another one of the many girl related injustices in the world:(
Have you tried pushing it around in a pram Luke?
It's all about the pram.
(When will a girl enter this post and tell us to stop guys??)
Methinks girls came, looked at the topic of the post and went elsewhere. That means this post can be our secret men's place where we can talk about guy stuff...
Owch...you have to admit there's a rather stark and truthful point there though. I guess I don't find the mic that exciting really...but i'm not a gear freak like these other two either, so perhaps there's hope for me after all:D
no comment...just, well, just no comment...
You know you wanna say it...
Um......it's a nice microphone. Not a "baby" perhaps, but a nice microphone. And depending what gets sung into it, maybe it would attract a girl, who knows.
hey, good call
funny, i found your blog. Don't know if you remember me but I'm the norewgian girl that stopped by studentlife sometimes.. Hope all is well. Steve Irwin: r.i.p.
sorry, wrong guy!
I think..mohaha. I'm confused..
heya Luke, whats been happening? My head hurts, so I'm going to bed, but thought I'd see what your blog said. You're still the proud father of a microphone I see...what else has been happening? Talk to you later!
